doctors explained from the engineers perspective

i have always wondered if the people from medical profession were born to behave alien to others views. i got this idea as i was a sick child i used to spend much of my "leisure" time in hospitals.

  1. some of the observations that i have made since then are...
  2. doctors call their classmates with the prefix dr. which engineers would not dare to do.
  3. while the rest of the city is preparing itself to wake up. you would have wondered hospitals are full by 7 in the morning.all medicos prefer to start early citing some bizare medical reasons.
  4. when engineers complain of odd night shifts, you cannot find a doctor who complains of night"duty". they prefer night shifts.(once my aunt who is a doctor worked 4 days at a stretch. it was we cousins were drowsy supplying refeshments to her and not her!!)
  5. whenever a doctor with his coat walks around in the hospital corridor. he always walks with his head held high, for others to wish him. what a confidence. you cannot find an engineer do that unless he owns the concern.
  6. docs speak in a voice just perceptible to patient 2 ft away.even the patient attender cannot hear the secrets.
  7. whatever age the doctor be his hands never tremble after adorning the scalpel.
  8. they can stand for hours together in operation theatre without an inkling of tiredness. where do you get all the energy docs?
  9. they are extra cautious about personal cleanliness. but the doctors table is always a mess.
  10. they can memorise the entire pillow sized books in no time. but engineers try to reduce the amount to be studied by limiting the studies to only class notes.
  11. have u ever found a doctor on sunday evenings.
  12. though docs use the net for studying have u ever received a mail by a practising doctor.
  13. they bring the smell of the hospital home. baring a few homes the doctors houses smell the same (smell of medecines)
  14. why there is no cheaper and better alternative. ( the better alternatives are always costly)
  15. why do docs use medical jargons when conversing with a non medico where the use is perfectly unsolicited.
all these are my observations.
your clarification is needed.
disclaimer:
the post is not to hurt the sentiments of the doctors, but their views are required to come to the conclusion.
